Russian Movie Week – Sorry I have only seen this movie after its re-make in 2016 under similar title Ekipazh Flight Crew: where this really doesn’t deserve a full Review as the early-half drama portion of crew-members is dull to a slow, while the latter-half is playing toy-soldiers as it’s obvious they used miniature models to film . still I have to give credit to picking such a visually exotic (fictional) location for the mining town of Bidri said to be deep in the Asian Continent, where the entrance to its mountain Airport is reminiscent of a Star Wars hidden base – where Flight 131 eventually fly-in to deliver food and medicine then rescue-out workers’ families .
You have to watch this movie before the later re-make, as this disaster among rocky-mountain cliff is no panoramic-match for a volcanic island over-flowing red melting lava .
